Rethinking Sight

This video is designed with a focus on sound to ensure that individuals who are blind can enjoy the same story as those who can see the visuals. It includes narration in four different languages, catering to the heightened sensitivity to sound of those without sight, allowing them to chose to listen in the language they understand best. The aim is to give sighted individuals insight into the experiences of those who are blind. To achieve this, I've included sounds that mimic phosphenes, which are the lights or colors you see when your eyes are closed, and I've intentionally limited the visual elements. This approach creates a shared narrative experience, accessible through sound, for everyone.
